Routine Exams
Regular dental exams help protect not just your oral health, but also your overall health. For instance, signs and symptoms of some systemic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and diabetes, might show up in the mouth first. Also, the exam gives Dr. Raimondo a chance to provide tips on caring for your teeth and to detect oral health problems early — when they're most treatable.
Dental Hygiene
Also known as a six-month cleaning or prophylaxis, this dental hygienist appointment is for healthy dental patients and is an essential step to helping ensure long-lasting oral health. It’s a great way to know your mouth is healthy and to walk out with clean, polished teeth.
Restorative Dentistry
Restorative dentistry is first and foremost concerned with keeping the mouth functioning as best it can and, in the process of doing so, can improve the overall look of one’s smile. This is what separates restorative dentistry from cosmetic dentistry — the latter is more concerned with aesthetics. Examples of restorative dentistry are implants, crowns, and fillings.
Dentures & Partials
There are two types of dentures are available -- complete and partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain. Dentures and partials are made after the teeth have been removed and the gum tissue has healed.
Emergency Dentistry
If you’re like most people, you haven’t thought about where to go for emergency dental care until you actually find yourself in the middle of a dental emergency. Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is ideal for people who have healthy, unrestored teeth (no fillings) and gums. Individuals with yellow tones to their teeth respond best. But this cosmetic procedure is not recommended for everyone. We have several different whitening options availble for you to choose from.
